Oliver McCrum Wines has been importing small production Italian wine and distributing to fine retail and restaurant establishes throughout California since 1994. Over time, our portfolio of producers has steadily grown to over 45 producers from 15 different regions of Italy. We look for typical Italian wines with clarity and freshness, usually made from indigenous Italian grape varieties using clean, transparent winemaking techniques and no obvious use of oak.

New York, Here We Come!

Drum roll please… get ready for our biggest news of the year and maybe even the decade!

Starting in February 2025, after more than 30 years importing Italian wines and spirits and selling them in California and beyond, we will now bring more than 20 wines and spirits producers direct to New York! The list is fun and fabulous and includes selections from nearly every corner of the Italian boot! Click here to see the full catalog.

We have worked with New York based PM Spirits to distribute our Italian spirits since 2020 and they will continue to represent a focused selection of products. PM has one of the best spirits portfolios in the country hands down; their team is full of incredible talent, and we couldn’t be more proud to continue to partner with them.

But most important, we couldn’t embark on this next step in our journey without our dynamic duo on the ground. Many of you already know David Curiel, our National Spirits Sales Manager, who is based in New York City and works around the country with our national network of distributor partners. David may have started his career in spirits but after working with us for six years, he caught the wine bug and hasn’t looked back.

David will be joined by Karen Ruocco who got her start with us in CA, before relocating to NYC in 2019 and starting Five Flights Wines and Spirits, an Italian import portfolio focused on quality, tradition, and small brands. Karen (re)joins the team as our New York Sales Manager. Her passion for quality wine and spirits has never waned and we are excited to welcome her back to embark on this exciting next phase together!

Last but not least we have many talented colleagues working behind the scenes to bring this to fruition and they look forward to traveling to NY often, eating and drinking and talking about wine and spirits together. Get ready NY, here we come!
