Oliver McCrum Wines has been importing small production Italian wine and distributing to fine retail and restaurant establishes throughout California since 1994. Over time, our portfolio of producers has steadily grown to over 45 producers from 15 different regions of Italy. We look for typical Italian wines with clarity and freshness, usually made from indigenous Italian grape varieties using clean, transparent winemaking techniques and no obvious use of oak. 

About Us


After working many years in the retail and distribution sides of the business in New York, London, and San Francisco, Oliver began importing and distributing wines on his own in 1994. The portfolio had been Italian focused for many years but in 2007, he decided to focus exclusively on the importation of Italian wines. Since then the portfolio has expanded from a predominantly Northern Italian selection to include an equally powerful and fast-growing Southern Italian selection. Oliver and his team look for wines with clarity, focus, and precision made from indigenous Italian grape varieties using traditional winemaking techniques and no obvious use of oak. 

In 2015, the company branched out into the category of spirits and has since sought out high quality, traditional Italian spirits made from real ingredients with no artificial flavorings, a surprising anomaly in the spirits world. The portfolio has grown to include a full range of traditional Italian spirits made by small producers who are specialists in their field, take great care in sourcing their herbs, and make all their own herbal infusions and distillations. Oliver McCrum, President

Oliver McCrum began the company in 1994 and is the mastermind behind our incredible selection of wines and spirits. In addition to searching for new wines and spirits to add to our portfolio, Oliver enjoys reading and learning about wine and teaching others about it too.

Michele Boscia, Vice President

Michele began working for the company in 2007 and along with the company, her role has grown tremendously. Today, as part owner and Vice President, she wears many hats. Michele's favorite grapes are Riesling, Nebbiolo, and Nerello Mascalese.

Marie Tyler, National Portfolio Manager

Marie began working for the company in 2010 and quickly became an integral part of the team. She is now in charge of our National Distribution program, finding passionate distributors around the country to bring truly artisanal wines and spirits to the best cities across America. Marie loves to drink aged Fiano, Pelaverga, and sparkling Nebbiolo.

Jeanine Anderson, Operations Manager

Jeanine joined our team in 2017 with an affinity for all things Italian. She works closely with the sales team to ensure orders and deliveries go off without a hitch. She enjoys Fiano, Vitovska, Schiava, Pelaverga and botanical forward spirits. While most often found riding her bicycle around SF with several bottles of wines poking out of the top of her pannier, her real passion is bicycle touring.

Elisabetta Villani, Human Resources & Compliance Manager

Elisabetta joined the team in 2020 and is our first native Italian on staff. We already feel like we can’t live without her. She manages all of our HR, compliance, and daily CA orders, and quickly developed a love for Vermouth, Amara, and Aperitivo; often all together shaken with lots of citrus.

Holly Corr, California Sales Manager

Holly began working for the company in 2013 selling our wares throughout Northern CA. Now, she works with all territory reps to ensure epic service across the state. On top of that, she is responsible for coordinating all of our company events and trade tastings. Holly loves bubbles and anything Rosè!

Cristin Brown, Marketing & Communications Manager, SF Sales

Cristin began working with the company in 2016 and has played many roles. She most recently manages marketing and communications and sells our wines and spirits in San Francisco. Cristin is a true spirit aficionado and enjoys exploring how our spirits fit into classic cocktail recipes, as well as hiking around the Bay Area with her family and dog.

Krystal Peoples, SF Sales

Krystal joined us earlier this year in April. She comes to us with a fast knowledge and experience in restaurants, working as a chef and a wine buyer. On any given day she can be found reading, making kefir waters, and seeking out the best hole in the wall restaurants. Krystal favorite apertivo lately has been any of the vermouths from Macchia. 

Adam Davidow, Los Angeles Sales

Adam came to us in July 2019, coming up through restaurants and selling wine in the SF South Bay Area and Santa Cruz County. If he had to choose a region to be stuck in during a pandemic it would be Alto Adige, or maybe Campania, he can't decide. When he’s not blending Emidio Pepe, he likes to put amaro in Daiquiris, and convinces everyone in Los Angeles that amaro is medicinal.

Cameron Martinez, LA Beach Cities, Orange County, & the Desert Sales

Cameron moved here from New Orleans by way of Chicago to help us satisfy the growing demand for our wines and spirits in Orange County, the desert and the beach cities of LA. When he’s not working (or driving), he loves to cook new recipes, play drums, and eat his way through the greater LA food scene. His favorite things to drink are La Colombera Timorasso and Fred Jerbis Amaro.

Lauren Reuthinger, Sacramento & East Bay Sales

Lauren joined our team in January 2021, she is helping us expand in Sacramento and its surrounding areas. She loves to introduce people to Uva Rara and share her cocktail creations. When she’s not doing those things, she likes to bake babka and go rollerblading.

Alexander Durfee, National Sales Manager

Alexander joined the company in April 2018 embodying the kind of charisma, passion and knowledge that we adore. Alexander traverses the country winning over customers with his love of Italian wine and spirits. His favorite thing to drink is Kuenhof Riesling.

David Curiel, National Spirits Manager

A long time San Francisco bartender and later a craft spirit merchant, David joined the company in 2019 and set out to establish our spirits portfolio on the East Coast and help our company of fine wine geeks transform into spirits geeks, too. David enjoys eating cheeseburgers and wearing vintage plaid suits.

Georgia Garrett, National Sales

Georgia has selling our wines for a distributor in Charleston for years. We are delighted to have her join the National Sales Team. She loves to drink Ettore Germano Rosanna and Sirene Canto Amaro is her go-to for apertivo hour. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and hunting for new vinyl records.

Liz Rubin, Los Angeles Sales

Liz Rubin joined the team in 2024 after being a devotee from her work as a buyer in San Francisco. She is thrilled to be an Angeleno and loves that her passion for wine and spirits supports her exploration of her new city. When Liz isn't drinking Champagne or Pineau d'Aunis from the Loire she loves herbal and aromatic reds from the Piedmont, Timorasso, and Fiano.

Jordie Ricigliano, Central Coast Sales

Jordie came to us in February 2024 from her home base in Santa Barbara to help us expand along the Central Coast. When she is not spreading the gospel about Lambrusco or Italian volcanic wines, Jordie grows agaves with her husband for the production of agave spirits under their label Los Hijuelos. She also loves to hike, cook, travel and hang out with her chickens in the garden with a spritz in hand. 

Danny DeMartini, North Bay Sales, Peninsula, South Bay & Monterey Peninsula

Danny was introduced to the company during his days as a buyer at an Italian restaurant in San Francisco. After almost fifteen years of friendship, he joined the team in March 2024. Danny's favorite grape is Nebbiolo and adores white wines from Campania. 

Kelly Kohlman, San Diego Sales

Kelly joined the team in 2024 after getting to know the company as a wine buyer for Born and Raised Steakhouse and Seneca Trattoria in San Diego. Kelly fell in love with wine while working in restaurants in New York City, in part because she loves taking tests. She is a WSG Italian Wine Scholar, a CMS Certified Sommelier, and has earned the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. She loves drinking riesling, singing to her cat, and dominating at bar trivia.
