I’m very happy with the 2013 harvest, actually I was happy with all the past 10 vintages… but this year I’m more happy!!!
Happy because we had a perfect season: snow in winter (not too much honestly!), rains during spring (a lot of rain!! Unfortunately we had almost no cherries), a dry, sunny, warm summer and we are having the best condition for a beginning of fall: cold night (8-10°C early morning) and warm and tidy day (25-27°C).
I’m expecting amazing grapes full of flavors, body and color! A good acidity will allow an important aging!
Almost all the grapes are still hanging… we harvested the Dolcetto and the Pelaverga to make the sparkling and the white.
Those wines are reflecting my expectations…
I’ll follow up with Pelaverga, Barbera and Nebbiolo!!!
